You can use this website and contact us without allowing analytics. This notice explains what samtech processes and why.
Who is responsible?

Enquiries and services
The form requests your name, email address and message so we can reply. Providing a source is optional. We store the enquiry in Cloudflare D1 and send an email notification through Resend. Direct emails, conversations and appointments may also be recorded in our customer administration.
A submitted enquiry can include limited source context: the first page visited, last content page, referring domain and restricted campaign labels. This stays in browser memory until submission; we do not create a tracking cookie for it. Missing information stays unknown.
For quotes and projects, processing is necessary for steps you request before a contract and for performing the contract. For other questions and contact follow-up, we rely on our legitimate interest in organising our services. Required business administration is processed to meet legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Hosting, security and chat
Cloudflare provides hosting, D1 storage and Turnstile spam protection. Technical connection data, including IP address and browser information, may be processed for these services. Our enquiry table does not store IP addresses or Turnstile tokens. Security and abuse prevention serve our legitimate interest in protecting the website and enquiries.
The website loads the Stewie chat service, connecting your browser to stewie.io. If you use chat, that service processes your questions and technical information needed for the conversation. Do not share passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in chat. Stewie may use functional session storage, for example to remember a dismissed chat. The current integration does not enable Stewie page-context capture or analytics bridges.
The chat does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Contact us directly for a quote or confirmation.
Optional Google Analytics
We load Google Analytics only after your consent. It measures visits, contact clicks and received form enquiries. Google receives pages, referring domains, cookie identifiers and technical browser/device information, plus your IP address when connecting. We do not send names, email addresses, message content or enquiry IDs to GA4. We do not use this integration for advertising or Google signals.
Your choice is saved in local storage for 180 days. After consent, _ga and _ga_47ZXLC2HX4 cookies may be set with a configured lifetime of 180 days. You can withdraw through Analytics settings at the bottom of every page. Collection then stops and these cookies are removed. Withdrawal does not automatically erase previously sent data or affect the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing.
GA4 user/event details follow the property’s retention settings. Sam reviews those settings for necessity; aggregated reports do not follow the same deletion period. Contact us for the current settings if you want further information.
Retention and deletion
We review enquiry records monthly. At that review, enquiries that have not become clients are deleted or anonymised after 12 months without contact. Marked spam is removed at the monthly review once 30 days old. A specific exception may be necessary for an ongoing dispute or legal retention obligation.
For clients, we retain information needed for the project, support, administration and possible legal claims. Legally required documents are retained for the applicable statutory period; ordinary enquiry limits do not apply to those records. Copies in mailboxes, providers and backups must also be considered when handling deletion requests.
Your theme preference remains in local storage until changed or browser data is cleared. Functional session storage ends according to the browser or service; analytics consent expires after 180 days. No account is required to use this site.
Recipients and international transfers
Information is intended for samtech and providers needed for hosting, security, storage, email, chat and — only with consent — analytics. D1 was created with EU jurisdiction. This does not mean all processing by all providers takes place exclusively in the EEA.
Google, Cloudflare, Resend and other involved providers may process outside the EEA. Relevant processing agreements and transfer mechanisms apply, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You can ask us about the safeguards for your information. The links below provide provider information.
Booking, WhatsApp, social media and other external links take you to separate services with their own privacy terms. A click does not mean you have booked an appointment or become a client.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure or restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw analytics consent at any time. Applicable legal obligations may limit some rights.
Send requests to [email protected] with enough information to locate your enquiry, but do not send an identity-document copy upfront. We may request proportionate additional verification. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
